May is Better Hearing and Speech Month (often called Speech Therapy Month) which highlights how speech-language pathologists help people improve communication, swallowing, cognition, and quality of life across all ages. Here at Chicopee Rehabilitation and Nursing Center we would like to thank our speech therapists Julia, Dorothy, and Diane. These therapists are dedicated and enjoy helping the residents with safe swallow and communication. It is important to be seen and heard or have an alternative way of communicating. 💙

Our resident veggie garden has officially been planted! 🌱🍅🥒🌶️🍈
A big thank you to Pam, our wonderful Activity Assistant, and her family for helping bring this beautiful garden to life for our residents to enjoy. This year’s garden includes tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, squash, and cantaloupe — we can’t wait to watch everything grow throughout the season!
