We’d like to give a heartfelt thank you to Louise, one of our incredible volunteers here at Chicopee Rehabilitation and Nursing 💛

Louise visits us weekly to lead chair yoga sessions with our residents, bringing energy, warmth, and a whole lot of joy to each class. Her background as a dance studio owner for 48 years truly shines through in the way she connects with our residents and keeps everyone moving and smiling.

We’re also honored that her connection to our community is so personal—her brother is a resident here, making her time with us even more meaningful.

Thank you, Louise, for your dedication, compassion, and the positive spirit you share with us each week. We are so grateful to have you as part of our Chicopee Rehab family!

We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the West Springfield Council on Aging for inviting us to be part of their Health and Vendor Fair last night. It was a wonderful event, and we truly appreciated the opportunity to connect with so many members of the community.

We were proud to have both Westfield Rehabilitation and Health Center and Chicopee Rehabilitation and Nursing Center represented, and we enjoyed sharing information, meeting attendees, and collaborating with fellow vendors.

Thank you again for your hospitality and for hosting such a well-organized and meaningful event. We look forward to participating again in the future!

At Chicopee Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, we’re proud to celebrate the powerful impact Occupational Therapy has in helping individuals regain independence, confidence, and quality of life.

Our dedicated OT team works every day to support patients in reaching their personal goals—whether that means returning to daily routines, recovering after injury, or gaining new skills for a brighter future.

Occupational Therapy is about more than recovery—it’s about empowering people to live life to the fullest. We are truly grateful for our compassionate therapists and the inspiring patients we have the privilege to serve.

A special THANK YOU to Maureen Graffum, our Director of Rehab and a dedicated Occupational Therapist for many years, as well as Louise, OTR/L, who has been with us for 19 years helping others achieve independence and confidence in their daily lives, and Shari COTA who has been with us 3 years. Your commitment and passion make a lasting difference for our residents every day.
